INDYCAR: CAMBIOS EN LA SERIE A PARTIR DE ESTE FIN DE SEMANA

Cambios en la Indycar Para Kentucky
La Serie Indycar contara con algunos cambios en sus monoplazas a partir de este fin de semana cuando se dispute la fecha Nº 12 en Kentucky, esto con el fin de hacer los vehiculos mas competitivos en los ovalos, se preveen ciertas mejoras en la aerodinamica y la introduccion del "overtake assist" entre algunas otras cosas que mantendran a ingenieros y pilotos sumamente ocupados cuando se celebre la Meijer Indy 300.
Cada piloto dispondra de una cantidad adicional de Horsepower y 200 revoluciones mas para un total de 10.500 con solo presionar un pequeño boton ubicado en su volante generalmente conocido como "push to pass", dispondran de este sistema en lo que queda de la temporada tanto en ovalos como en circuitos. Este sistema requiere una pequeña alteracion en la ECU y despues de cada uso tendra un periodo de recarga de 10 segundos.

"It's to provide the driver, if they're already making a passing maneuver, an additional tool to complete the pass. It provides the teams options which they have to choose how they're going to run the race so it brings more strategy from a team aspect.
"Because of the architecture of the engine, you can't have the 100 horsepower that Champ Car had because you could just increase your boost levels on a turbocharged engine and that's how you get the extra power. When you're already producing 100 percent power with a normally aspirated engine, there isn't anything else other than spark advance to get more horsepower."
