Bueno a nivel de foro, daremos cobertura a este serial a partir de esta temporada 2007.

Welcome to the 2007 season of the V8 Supercars. Once again the season will kick off with 2x250km races on the Adelaide Street Circuit, in what is more commonly known as the Clipsal 500.
After the controversial finish to the 2006 season Ford fans will be hoping for revenge. Series champion Rick Kelly and people's champion Craig Lowndes will be amongst the favourites come Race 1. The other strong contenders are likely to be Garth Tander, Jamie Whincup, FPR duo Mark Winterbottom and Steve Richards, SBR duo James Courtney and Russell Ingall, and HRT duo Mark Skaife and Todd Kelly amongst others. 2006 frontrunner Jason Bright is an unknown due to the fact that Britek Motorsport are yet to run up the front of the field. Bright does have a history of moving teams to the front though. SBR, PWR and FPR all improved dramatically upon Bright joining the team.
A change for 2007 is that most teams will be using either the VE Commodore or the BF Falcon. The VZ Commodore can still be used but only 4 will be on the grid at Adelaide. Not all 2007 changes are fully available as the 2007 Operations Manual is yet to be released on the V8 website, however a couple of changes will be noticable. The pit window has been shortened to between Lap 26 and 55, and the new Qualifying system will be shown for the first time on Friday. The system will be close to the F1 system. There will be 3x15 minute sessions. 31 cars will compete for the first 15 minutes, the top 20 for the second 15 minutes, and top 10 for the third 50 minutes.
Not only is this the first round of the 2007 V8 Supercar Championship, this is the first round for 6 other series. The Fujitsu V8 Series, Carrera Cup, Aussie Racing Cars, Historic Touring Cars, Formula Ford and V8 Utes. The Australian GT Championship has their 2nd round of the year after kicking off their season as a support event to the A1GP round at Eastern Creek.
All I can say is that this weekend will be absolutely awesome and another reason why that will be so are the grid girls
