Motocross estrena pista en Jacó este fin de semana

El Campeonato Nacional de Motocross correrá este sábado y domingo la cuarta fecha la temporada en la pista “La Colorada” en Jaco, esta será la primera vez que se corra en dicho circuito que fue diseñado de la mano del piloto Johan Mora.

El trazado cuenta con 1400 metros de longitud de recorrido y con un ancho minimo de ocho metros y en algunos sectores cuenta con 12, en la superficie predomina la arena algo poco común en la pista de motocross de nuestro país.

“La pista tiene brincos de toda variedad, algunos pequeños nada complicados, además también sectores de olas, tenemos un par de saltos dobles también con secciones de ritmo, es una pista bastante adecuada para nuestro motocross con un terreno arenoso lo que hará que podamos correr bien si llueve” explicó Johan Mora.

robertocastroPrecisamente en la categoría mayor MX1 el duelo por las primera posiciones podría estar nuevamente protagonizado por los pilotos Roberto Castro y Johan Mora, el primero de ellos actual líder del campeonato con 147 puntos, es decir, 14 más que Mora.

“Hace años no vamos a esa zona y ahora a un circuito nuevo con diferente tipo de terreno que se puede romper mucho y por eso debemos estar atentos a las línes de carrera, además ahí la temperatura y la húmedad serán factores que influirán mucho” explico Roberto Castro del Team CMX.

Mora a defender liderato en la MX2

En la categoría del cuarto de litro, MX2, el piloto Esteban Mora llegó al liderato luego de dominar en la fecha anterior en Cartago, ahora en Jaco buscará mantener esa posición en una tarea que será bastante dificil pues tiene rivales bastante rápidos.

“El calor de Jaco es fuerte y la exigencia fisica sera fuerte, vamos a buscar salir adelante para seguir administrando esa diferencia que tenemos a favor en el campeonato” dijo el piloto del equipo KTM.

Actualmente Mora suma 140 puntos en la temporada mientras que su más inmediato seguidor es José Pablo Chavez con 131, más atrás en la tercera posición se encuentra Stefano Bercovichs con 103 unidades.

La jornada del sábado arrancará a las 9 de la mañana y se realizarán las clasificaciones de todas las categorías, heats de reposición de fechas anteriores y además las primeras mangas de la cuarta fecha, el domingo el programa de competencia inicia desde las 9:30 a.m.
