http://thef1times.com/news/display/04250"Renault have confirmed that Bruno Senna will replace Nick Heidfeld for the Belgian Grand Prix. Though they are yet to confirm whether he will be a firm feature for the remainder of the season.
The news was reported on Monday that the Brazilian would make his debut for Renault after team principal Eric Boullier, and team co-owner Gerard Lopez, admitted they were disappointed with the German's performances."
http://thef1times.com/news/display/04252"Friday is all but guaranteed to suffer from rain, but the unique nature of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, which stretches for 7km into the Ardenne forest, means it can be raining at one end, whilst the other is bone-dry.
Saturday's conditions look slightly better with lighter rain expected, mainly toward the latter stages of the session.
Sunday will see the best weather, with little to no rain forecast for the entire event. However, that will offer the teams very little in the way of confidence as weather is notably hard to predict in this region."
http://formula-one.speedtv.com/article/ ... ge-drs-ban"The FIA’s Charlie Whiting has confirmed that DRS will not be allowed at Eau Rouge this weekend to avoid the risk that a driver thinks he has returned his wing to its normal position when he might not have.
The FIA had a similar view prior to Monaco, where the tunnel was an issue.
Although the explanation might sound odd, Mark Webber went into Turn 8 with his wing open when he thought he had closed it during practice in Turkey. He went off the road, and continued without major drama."
http://thef1times.com/news/display/04247"I have been following the discussion regarding the use of DRS at the Eau Rouge corner and I think banning its use there for the whole weekend is the right decision," he wrote in his diary.
"As racing drivers, we would always try and use DRS there and that could lead to an accident, because of the particular nature of the corner. So, just as was the case in the tunnel in Monaco, I think this is the best solution."
http://thef1times.com/news/display/04245"It's the Brit's second appearance this season after sitting on the stewarding panel for the British GP which was won by Ferrari's Fernando Alonso."

http://www.supersport.com/motorsport/ar ... Id=1001671Lewis Hamilton : "I think we go into the race weekend in a pretty good place - we've won the last two grands prix and the car feels strong. Of course, the weekend is likely to be affected by the weather, which is always somewhat unpredictable at Spa. I'd prefer a dry race, but, to be honest, I'll take any track condition: I just can't wait to get back out in my car!"
http://www.f1pulse.com/features/Vettel- ... ticle.aspxSebastian Vettel : "The Spa circuit has everything that a driver dreams of – unbelievably fast corners and slow chicanes, and it can be full of surprises due to the weather. It can be raining one minute and then the sun can be shining the next. It’s been great to have a break in the sun and to relax and do watersports, but I can’t wait to get back in the car."
http://www.motorsport.com/#/all/news/f1 ... =2&s=1&i=4"Pirelli’s P Zero White medium and P Zero Yellow soft are the two nominated compounds for the race – as was the case for the Grand Prix of Europe and the German Grand Prix earlier this year – but it is historically likely for the wet and intermediate tyres to see action in Belgium as well."
http://www.motorsport.com/#/all/news/f1 ... 2&s=1&i=53"Michael is full of respect for the DTM drivers," he told the DPA news agency. "At some point he will definitely test our new DTM coupe for 2012."
A race seat in DTM could then be discussed if and when "Michael no longer wants to drive in Formula One", added Haug.

"Right now I'm confirmed to do this race and the next race but for some legal issues, which need to be resolved, I can't confirm if I'm going to do the rest of the year or not. The intention is that I'm going to do it but it still cannot be confirmed."
