Definitivamente Loeb no estará en Gales

ImageLos test realizados fueron bien, pero los médicos le han dicho a Loeb que aún no está recuperado al 100% como para poder aguantar tres días de competición.

Al final el piloto francés ha decidido hacer caso a sus médicos y no tomará la salida en el Rally de Gales. La próxima vez que veamos a Loeb en competición será ya a los mandos del nuevo C4 WRC.

Petter Solberg quiere cerrar una temporada para olvidar con un buen resultado y espera que las condiciones en las que se desarrolle el Rally de Gales le ayuden a obtener el tan ansiado triunfo que este año le rehuye.

"Será un ataque total desde el primer metro del rally. Es el último de la temporada y no tengo nada que perder, es tsn simple como eso. Espero que sea el típico Rally de Inglaterra con mucho barro en los tramos. Esas condiciones me benefician.", dijo el noruego refiriéndose al próximo Rally de Gales.

Elena wins Park trophy

Daniel Elena, co-driver for Sebastien Loeb, has become the first winner of a new award for co-drivers, in memory of Michael 'Beef' Park who died in a tragic accident on last year's Wales Rally GB.

The Michael Park Trophy was founded in memory of the British co-driver by his family, friends and colleagues, with many of the FIA World Rally Championship community also supporting the project. The trophy itself is a bronze bust of Park created by French artist Francois Chevalier and will be awarded at the end of each WRC season to the co-driver who demonstrated the qualities associated with Park during the season.
