Mas que pasarse a la GT1 lo que ocupa Mariano es competencia en la GT2
Algo como
El EVO de Jeff
El S3 de Jurguen "antes del accidente"
La Sentra Tubular de los Valverde
La 14 de Purdy
El Impreza de Kikos
El Evo Panameño
El RX7 Guatemalteco
Con esos se veria una buena competencia con el Porsche.

Bueno entonces cual es la quejadera si tienen los GT2 allá y no corren no es problema entonces de Mariano
Kikos abandonó el proyecto por razones propias que el solo sabe y ahora lo está vendiendo
El Dr. Poveda, aún no termina su carro y por la situación actual no creo que tenga motivación en apresurarse.
Coto, ha explicado mil veces que no cuenta con presupuesto.

Mariano es el único que corre, entonces no se le puede hacer una categoría unica para el.
Lo mismo pasa aca en Panamá, con esa categoría, que no es atractiva para nadie, por el mal planteamiento que tienen los reglamentos en cada país, ojala se cambien y se levante de nuevo esta clase, antesala a la categoría mayor.

yo pienso que si es necesaria, porque todos sabemos que aqui en costa rica corremos por amor, hay premio muy pequenos , y buenos trofeos.fervalman escribió:es tan necesaria ?

para nadie es secreto lo que se gasta por carrera, pienso yo que es mejor correr por un segundo o tercer lugar que correr por un 9 lugar.
por lo menos sale uno con un trofeito, que igual se gasta gt1 y gt2 pero te vas la satifaccion de llevarte un reconocimiento.
esa es mi manera de pensar.

Ghost Rider - Boxster!
We are absolutly running next race. The team is fully sponsored and all the parts are now in our shop and the car is being put back together very quickly.
We are able to run GT1 or GT2 with only a change in weight. However we will not have any chance of a podium finish in GT1. The Boxster is a GT2 car from the start. Our 3.6 ltr 6 cyl engine will never keep up with a 6.0+ ltr V8.
For all those that question the GT2 class I say that it is the spectators and fans that win from having multiple classes. I can assure you that in my experience, the very best way to kill a racing series is to limit the teams that want to run by not giving them a chance to be competitive.
The budget for a GT2 team is 1/3 what it is for a GT1 team. So teams which have enough money to run GT2 but not enough for GT1 will either run for fun (like us) and never hope to have a chance to win or will go down to GT3 if they can (Mariano and our team cant do this) or not race at all. Take a look at all the unfinished GT2 cars right now. Do you blame them, when all they can hope for is to follow the GT1 cars around the track? I would love to see more cool cars out there like the Mitsu-turbo and the Subaru and a BMW or Mazda or Ferrari or ??? How about you?
Anyway we are going to run and do our best for the the fans and our sponsor, wish us luck!
