What does IndyCar Series Bombardier Rookie of the Year Danica Patrick have in common with Nobel Prize winning physicists - besides maybe an appreciation for the music of Nelly?
They are included in the 2006 edition of "Who's Who in America," featuring the most diverse group of achievers, leaders and superstars ever assembled in the 107-year history of Marquis "Who's Who in America."
The book contains more than 100,000 biographical profiles from Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts to Paris Hilton. Patrick, the highest female finisher in the history of the Indianapolis 500, is a first-time entrant along with rapper Kanye West, iPod designer Jonathan Ive and "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria.
Patrick, who started three races from the pole position during her first season in the IndyCar Series, had a high finish of fourth. She became the focus of worldwide media attention after becoming the first woman to lead laps in the 89th Indianapolis 500. Patrick was married this past weekend in Arizona.
"I am particularly proud of the 2006 edition," Marquis Who's Who CEO Gene McGovern said in a statement. "In this edition we have made ourselves even more exclusive by raising the bar on our standards of admission, while, at the same time, broadening our scope of coverage.
"In the past, we have tended to focus on more traditional fields of endeavor, featuring corporate leaders, university presidents, leading members of the medical community and other classical 'pillars of society.' In this volume, we have attempted to make the book more contemporary, bringing in individuals of more diverse backgrounds and experiences, while still maintaining the highest standards of admission."

Here’s the Patrick Q&A section in the special section of the magazine:
How did you get into racing? danica patrick says, "I started racing when I was 10 years old, mostly because of my sister. She wanted to race, and I just didn't want to get left out, so I went ahead and tried it, too."
What about racing is the most fun: danica patrick says, "Winning. That's always the goal. So when it happens, it's a lot of fun."
Biggest mistake and what you learned: danica patrick says, "Your failures and your successes and your good choices and bad choices are what make you as a person and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Any decisions I've made along the way have definitely gotten me to where I am, and I wouldn't change that. So I don't think there's anything that I would ever take back."
Proudest achievement: danica patrick says, "The most impact has been the fourth place at Indianapolis. The most rewarding: being quickest on some of the days at Indy, feeling like I belonged and like I had the ability to do it."
Current challenge: danica patrick says, "Just finding a group of people that believe in you and believe that everybody involved can do what it takes to be successful. To have the same goal in mind. The biggest challenge has been finding that group of people."
On being successful: danica patrick says, "You need to be dedicated. You need to make sure it's your passion in life. And you need to make sure that you're willing to basically give up everything to do it. You just have to love it so much, because if you don't, I don't think you'll follow through and go all the way."
Goal in racing to which you aspire: danica patrick says, "Winning a championship."
