Hans becomes Drivers' Champion in the German Touring Car Championship in an Audi V8 Quattro, winning at Avus, Wunstorf, Norisring and Hockenheim. He also competes in the Sports Car World Championship with Team Joest in a Porsche 962C. He finishes fourth in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, France.
1989

In the U.S. IMSA GTO Championship he takes fourth place driving an Audi 90 Quattro and clinches five wins with Walter Röhrl and Hurley Haywood. In the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France he takes third place driving a Porsche 962 with Derek Bell.
1988

Hans wins the 12-hour race at Sebring and takes second place in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France with Klaus Ludwig in a Porsche 962. He finishes third in the U.S. Trans-Am Championship driving an Audi Quattro, earning the ‘Rookie of the Year’ title with seven wins.
1987

Driving a Porsche 962, Hans wins the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France with Derek Bell, and becomes Drivers' Champion in the German ADAC Super Cup. He also takes second place in the 24-hour race in Daytona with Bob Akin.
1986

He narrowly misses out on the World Endurance Championship, finishing just one point behind team-mate Derek Bell. He wins both the Le Mans 24-hour race in France with Derek Bell and Al Holbert, and the 12-hour race at Sebring with Jo Gartner and Bob Akin in a Porsche 962.

"My first Le Mans win was very spectacular, but unfortunately it was overshadowed by a sad event. It was during this race that Jo Gartner, my Austrian colleague with whom I won in Sebring, was killed.”
1985

This year Hans moves to Porsche as a works driver. He becomes Drivers' Champion in the World Endurance Championship with Derek Bell in a Porsche 962, winning at Hockenheim, Mosport Canada and Brands Hatch. He takes second place in the German Sports Car Championship driving with Brun Motorsport in a Porsche 962. With wins at the Nürburgring, Wunstorf, Zeltweg and Erding, he earns the title ‘German Driver of the Year’.
1984

In the European Touring Car Championship with Team Schnitzer, Hans wins the 500-kilometre race of Mugello in a BMW 635 CSi. In the Sports Prototype World Championship he wins the Imola 1000-kilometre race in a Porsche 956 C (Team Walter Brun) with Stefan Bellof.
1983

Hans takes second in the German Racing Trophy with Team Schnitzer in a BMW M1
1982

This year Hans finishes fourth in the European Touring Car Championship. In a Team Schnitzer BMW 635 CSi he wins the Macau Grand Prix. With a Team Schnitzer BMW M1 he takes third in the German Racing Trophy with wins at Zolder, Nürburgring, Hockenheim, and the Norisring. This year also sees him take part in the inaugural season of the Sports Prototype World Championship, with Walter Brun in a Sauber SHS C6 Ford.
1981

With Team Schnitzer Hans takes third in the German Touring Car Championship driving a 1000 bhp BMW M1. He wins the 1000 kilometre race at the Nürburgring with Nelson Piquet in a BMW M1 (the first BMW victory in the World Endurance Championship). He also wins the GT class at the Daytona 24-hour race, together with Walter Brun and Rudi Walch (BMW M1).

Successful with Porsche
2000

The new century begins with another year driving with Boris Said and BMW Team PTG in the ALMS. Hans finishes first at Sears Point, but gets disqualified because of an oversized fuel cell. He also takes first place at Laguna Seca, second at Mosport and third at Las Vegas. He wins the VW Beetle Cup in Road Atlanta from 14th place on the grid.
1999

This year Hans is primarily active in North America. He competes in the American Le Mans Series and the United States Road Racing Championship with BMW Team PTG in a BMW M3. He claims GT victories at Lime Rock Park and Sears Point Raceway and finishes runner-up at Mosport and Petit Le Mans, Atlanta. He wins the American Le Mans Series GT Personality of the Year award, presented by Le Mans Series & Sportscar Racer magazine.
1998

Hans and his team achieve a unique success. In the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring, he drives a BMW 320d with Andy Bovensiepen, Christian Menzel and Marc Duez. They take overall victory – the first victory for a car with a diesel engine. He also takes second place at the ISRS Championship at the Nürburgring with Steve Soper in a Riley & Scott BMW prototype. Furthermore, he is employed as a development driver for the BMW V12 LMR, and is behind the wheel at the car’s first outing in the Le Mans 24-hour race.
1997

This year Hans not only stars on the track. As well as writing Formula One columns for the BILD newspaper, he is also active as a co-commentator for television broadcaster RTL throughout the ADAC Super Touring Car Championship. Despite this, he also takes the wheel of a Porsche GT1 with Thierry Boutsen, and competes in the International GT Series for Porsche.
1996

Hans drives an Opel Calibra for Team Rosberg in the International Touring Car Championship. Victory in Helsinki helped him to sixth place in the overall standings. He becomes GT winner of the 12-hour race at Sebring with Bill Adam in a Champion Porsche 930 turbo, and GT winner in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Bob Wollek and Thierry Boutsen in a Porsche GT1. He scores German BPR Series wins at Brands Hatch and Spa- Francorchamps with Thierry Boutsen in a Porsche GT1.
1995

Hans takes fourth place in the German ADAC Super Touring Car Cup driving an Audi Quattro. In a Porsche 930 he finishes second in the 12 Hours at Sebring and another second in the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen U.S. IMSA Championship in a Porsche 930 turbo – both with Bill Adam. Again with Bill Adam, he takes another second in the 3-hour race at Sears Point. With Thierry Boutsen in a Kremer Spyder Porsche 962, he takes third place in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, France.
1994

In the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with Thierry Boutsen and Danny Sullivan, Hans takes third place in a Porsche 962. He wins the Watkins Glen 6-hour race in the IMSA Championship with Walter Röhrl in a Porsche 930 turbo. He also wins the Touring Car World Final at Donington, driving for Germany in an Audi Quattro.
1993

Hans wins the title in the U.S. IMSA Supercar Championship in a Porsche 930. He has an incredible tally with nine wins and 11 pole positions. In addition, he wins the 12 Hours at Sebring with Walter Röhrl in a Porsche 930 turbo.
1992

In this year the Audi works team withdrew from the German Touring Car Championship mid-season. Hans took second at Nürburgring Germany, and had two wins at the U.S. IMSA Supercar Championship in a Porsche 930 turbo.
1991

In the German Touring Car Championship, Hans takes third in an Audi V8 Quattro with wins at Norisring, Diepholz and Singen. He also records three wins in the U.S. IMSA Supercar Championship in a Brumos Porsche 930 turbo.

Successful years with BMW Motorsports
2007

A year full of tradition. Father and son (Johannes) drive together for the first time in a Schubert BMW Z4 M Coupe, and climb onto the podium as winners five times. In the second round of the VLN series, Hans suffers one of the most serious accidents of his career. He is taken to hospital with a broken breastbone, cardiac compression and a chipped lumbar vertebra. After just six weeks’ enforced break, he takes part in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring, and achieves his fifth overall victory and a class victory.

In December he rejected an extension of his BMW contract and moved to Volkswagen AG, where he now faces a new challenge as motor sport consultant for the group. As a leaving present at the BMW Motorsport party, Dr. Mario Theissen followed a very emotional speech by presenting Hans with a map of Wolfsburg to help him in the future.
2006

The year starts with victory in another endurance classic, the 24-hour race in Dubai. Racing with Dieter Quester and Phillip Peter for Team Duller Motorsport, Hans wins in a BMW M3.

In the second round of the GP Masters series in Qatar (AE), he drops out after a collision with Stefan Johannson. At the last round to date of the GP Masters in Silverstone (GB), Hans narrowly misses out on a podium place, finishing fourth in an exciting race dominated by rain. In the VLN Championship at the Nürburgring, he claims several class victories in Team Schubert Motorsport’s BMW 120d. Hans also competed in the Truck Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, guiding a Team Allgäu MAN race truck to fifth place.


2005

Following the announcement – made in February – that Hans was to once again contest the Nürburgring 24-hour race with BMW, he started his preparation programme. Together with Dirk Müller, he contested the season opener of the BFGoodrich Endurance Championship, at the wheel of the BMW M3 GTR. Unfortunately, the race had to be red-flagged due to dense fog. To gain further Nordschleife experience, Hans took part of several events for Schubert Motors, in a BMW 320i. While doing so, he made a vital contribution to his brand-mate Claudia Hürtgen’s title win in this championship.

On 7th May, the race was back on. Together with Jörg Müller and Dirk Müller, Hans contested the classic endurance event at the Nürburgring, which he had already won three times. However, the trio suffered a lot of bad luck and spent a much of their time in the garage for repair work. At the end of the day though, Hans once again had reason to be happy, as the BMW M3 GTR wearing the No 1 finished runner-up, with only one car having completed more laps of the ‘Green Hell’: the second BMW M3 GTR entered by Team BMW Motorsport, driven by Duncan Huisman, Pedro Lamy, Andy Priaulx and Boris Said.

When the season was over, Hans was fully concentrated on the new GP Masters series. In the inaugural round, held on 13th November at Kyalami, and won by Nigel Mansell, Hans produced a strong performance to finish sixth.
2004

Hans claims his third win in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring, following his victories in 1970 and 1998. He wins in the BMW M3 GTR alongside Jörg Müller and Dirk Müller.

"Psychologically, it was the most strenuous race I have ever entered,“ says Hans after crossing the line in his BMW M3 GTR. “The difficult weather conditions meant you were constantly riding on a razor's edge. But despite that it was tremendous fun. I have to express my special praise for the engineers. They handed us a perfectly functioning BMW M3 GTR."

Seven weeks later, Hans teams up with the two Müllers to take sixth place overall at the 24-hour classic at Spa-Francorchamps. This gives the trio the GT2 class victory.

Hans had previously won two races in the endurance cup, and one race in the BELCAR series at the Nürburgring.


2003

Due to the withdrawal of BMW from the ALMS, Hans only drives one race with the V8-powered M3 of Team Scheid. The race is the ADAC 24-hour race at the Nürburgring – he fails to finish.

He becomes spokesperson for BMW’s commitment to the America’s Cup with ORACLE BMW Racing, spending 3 months in New Zealand. At this time he has the privilege of sailing as the 17th man on one of the USA 76’s training runs.


2002

This is the third year of driving in the USA with Boris Said and BMW Team PTG, and starts with a third place in Texas. This is the last race for the 6-cylinder E46 M3. On the debut of the V8-powered M3 GTR, he takes a second place at Sears Point. He wins at Portland and finishes third at Mosport. He finishes the season with a win in the Petit Le Mans, co-driving with Boris Said and Bill Auberlen.

He has the honour of setting a record time at the Nordschleife, driving the 750 horsepower, V12-powered BMW X5 Le Mans. With a target of less than eight minutes he covers the historic 20.8 kilometre circuit in 7:49.92, reaching 311 km/h on the straight. He fails to complete the ADAC 24-hour race at the Nürburgring with Team Scheid.


2001

The new century begins with another year driving with Boris Said and BMW Team PTG in the ALMS. Hans finishes first at Sears Point, but gets disqualified because of an oversized fuel cell. He also takes first place at Laguna Seca, second at Mosport and third at Las Vegas. He wins the VW Beetle Cup in Road Atlanta from 14th place on the grid.

A mi me impresiona de Stuck, su buen humor, siempre está sonriendo, igual que Derek Bell, pero sobre todo su humildad y don de gentes, la cual se nota en todos los reportajes y entrevistas.
Me encantaba verlo pelear posiciones con el difunto Al Holbert en los Porsches 962 de la serie IMSA.

Te comparto que creo que uno de los Audis all track que corrió Hans Stuck en IMSA GTO en equipo con Hurley Haywood parece que está en la colección personal de uno de los pilotos más renombrados del antiguo automovilismo chapín como es Don Manfredo Lippman. Don Manfredo Lippman fué un brillante piloto, de las Carreras Panamericanas y tiene una colecciión de autos de competencia que dicen que es impresionante (yo no la he visto por supuesto). Este Audi de Stuck estuvo en exhibición en la agencia Porsche Vasek Polak en Redondo Beach California hace años y ahí yo lo ví junto con otros Porsches impresionantes.

Hans Stuck es hijo de una leyenda del automovilsimo, y su don de gente lo han llevado mas alla de todas las fronteras, amigo sincero, conocedor del automovilismo como ninguno otro, le gusta su musica de Tirol y yodele de las montañas de baviera, la cerveza , la carne de puerco asada, en fin vive su vida como todo un rey, y sigue CORRIENDO autos de carreras, sigue casado y feliz con su Silvia, y orgulloso que uno de sus Hijos, Johannes Stuck este enrolado en unos de los TOP 3 equipos de Porsche a nivel del planeta, he conversado muchas veces con Hans y su manera de chistear es algo unico,, en vivo ejemplo, cuando faltaban escasos 30 minutos para comenzar las 24 horas de Nurburgring 2008, el tenia bajo su mandato 3 Sciroccos Turbo y a parte iba a pilotear 2 de ellos, increible... el estaba haciendo chistes y decia que ganas de tomarme una buena cerveza con un pedazo de cerdo asado, al estilo de mi madre, jajajaja.

Hans J Stuck es actualmente el Hombre mas grande en las filas de Volkwagen en materia de competicion de autos de carreras.. Director mundial de competicion Volkwagen y todas sus marcas adjuntas.

JK Mi hermano y yo tuvimos el placer de conocerlo en el año 1993 en el Maimi Grand Prix cuando se corria en la calle y el competia con porsche en una categoria casi stock .Ese equipo era conformado por dos carros no me acuerdo cual era el otro piloto, pero excelente pilotoy como persona mucho mejor
